This website (signandtalk.com)
No cookies, no trackers, no consent banner
signandtalk.com sets no cookies of any kind. It loads no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no session-replay tool and no third-party tag. Nothing here follows you to another website.
The site stores exactly one item in your browser's local storage:

Our web host records the ordinary information a web server sees when it serves a page — IP address, browser type, the page requested — as part of running the site securely. That is server-side logging, not a cookie, and it is covered in the privacy policy.

The web app (app.signandtalk.com)
The web app needs to remember that you are signed in, so it stores more. All of it is strictly necessary to run the app you asked for.

The Android app
An Android app has no cookies. It stores the same items as the web app in Android's own app storage, which is private to the app and removed when you uninstall it.
The Android app also includes Firebase Analytics, from Google. Today it records that the app was opened. Firebase sets its own identifier on the device to count app instances. Firebase Analytics is not present on this website or in the web app.
Firebase Analytics currently records app opens only. No recordings, transcripts or scores are sent to analytics. We do not currently ship Crashlytics.

Payment pages
When you pay on the web, the Razorpay checkout is Razorpay's own interface and it sets its own cookies and storage to run the payment and to prevent fraud. Those are governed by Razorpay's policies, not ours. Google Play purchases happen entirely inside Google's app.

Clearing or blocking this
- Clearing site data for signandtalk.com removes the theme preference. The site keeps working; it simply forgets your colour choice.
- Clearing site data for app.signandtalk.com signs you out of the web app and clears the local preferences. Your account and your practice history are on our server and are untouched.
- Uninstalling the Android app removes everything it stored on the device.
- None of these actions deletes your account. To do that, use the account deletion page.

If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any other non-essential storage to this website, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before setting anything. We will not add a consent banner that silently assumes a yes.
